My Story
From the Mountains, With Love
I grew up in Western North Carolina, where the mountains feel less like a backdrop and more like a character in every story. I’ve always been drawn to the way light moves through the trees at golden hour, the way a meadow looks in the morning fog, and the way a family looks when they forget the camera is there.
Photography found me after motherhood, after a season of healing, and at a time when I had learned to slow down and really pay attention. It found me a little wiser, a lot more empathetic, and with a deeper appreciation for how quickly the seasons of life pass. What started as something personal became something that feels a lot like a calling — a way to help other people hold onto the people, places, and moments they never want to forget.
I’m professionally trained, endlessly curious, and genuinely in love with this work. I want your photos to feel like you — honest, beautiful, and full of the little things that make your life yours.

How I Work
Unhurried
I never rush a session. We take our time, let things unfold naturally, and trust that the good stuff will show up when everyone relaxes.
Genuine
I'm not interested in stiff poses or forced smiles. I want to capture who you actually are — the laughter, the chaos, the quiet moments in between.
Intentional
Every location, every light condition, every angle is chosen with purpose. I put thought into the details so you don't have to.
